Diana Y. Yoon-Schwartz, MD, Ph.D. is a plastic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgeon. After graduating from Brown University, she attended NYU School of Medicine. She went on to complete a general surgery residency and a doctorate in molecular biology through a competitive NIH-funded program at UCLA. Her post-doctoral studies focused on molecular carcinogenesis and she was awarded a prestigious grant through the National Cancer Institute to study the effects of dioxin on breast cancer. She returned to New York to complete her plastic surgery residency at Montefiore Medical Center-Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She is dual board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery. She is one of a handful of women with skills in complex microsurgery and this gives her the unique ability to utilize ideal solutions for complex reconstructive problems.  She is also skilled in all aspects of non-invasive injectable cosmesis:
